From Image to Wall — One Considered Process

Built on a Printing Legacy Since 1975
Wallux is built on a printing practice that began in 1975, long before photographic output became automated or disposable. What started as Fotolinks, a family-run photographic printing studio, served professional photographers, institutions, and large-scale visual projects at a time when every print demanded technical precision and material understanding. During this era, many professionals who would later go on to establish their own fine art labs and studios trained, worked, or produced work through Fotolinks. As photography evolved, Fotolinks transitioned into Digital Fotolinks, adopting professional digital workflows early while preserving the discipline of traditional printmaking. That foundation of craft, control, and consistency now informs everything Wallux produces.
Wallux is not a reinvention. It is the refined expression of decades spent understanding how images behave on paper, and how they endure on walls.

We don’t just decorate walls.
We curate what deserves to remain.
In a world that scrolls fast and forgets faster, Wallux exists to give photographs permanence. Not as décor, but as authored visual stories. We are a fine art printing and production studio, working across homes, workplaces, and collections - where archival printing, framing, wall design & installation come together as one considered process.
Every project begins with intent:
Why this image? Why this space? Why now?
